Can high blood pressure cause a stroke?

Hypertension usually has no symptoms, and a few people may have symptoms such as dizziness, nosebleeds, or headaches. However, many patients still do not feel uncomfortable even if they have had high blood pressure for many years, or even high blood pressure. Therefore, the greater harm of high blood pressure is that it is a "silent killer". Therefore, most of the high blood pressure is found when measuring blood pressure during physical examinations or medical treatments. Once found, no matter the severity, treatment should be done as soon as possible.

Hypertension is difficult to cure. Once you get sick, you will always pay attention to non-drug treatment or take antihypertensive drugs together. At the beginning of hypertension, the symptoms are often insidious and atypical. If you do not have the habit of regularly measuring blood pressure, it is likely to delay the disease and lead to other fatal cardiovascular and cerebrovascular diseases. Hypertension is the culprit of stroke and coronary heart disease. Stroke, commonly known as stroke. Stroke has the characteristics of high incidence, high disability, and high mortality. It is a common and frequently-occurring case that threatens the health of human beings, especially middle-aged and elderly people. The case fatality rate is 30-40%. Stroke can be manifested as cerebral hemorrhage, cerebral thrombosis, and cerebral embolism. Common clinical manifestations include: sudden fainting, unconsciousness, crooked mouth and eyes, speech disadvantage, hemiplegia, etc. According to statistics, 93 of 100 patients with coronary heart disease have hypertension; 86 of 100 patients with cerebral thrombosis have high blood pressure; 50-70 of 100 patients with coronary heart disease also have high blood pressure. Coronary heart disease and stroke are two serious diseases that cause death and disability. Statistics in recent years show that nearly half of the deaths in my country are due to heart and poultry vascular diseases, and more than half of the surviving stroke patients have various disabilities and cannot take care of themselves. Therefore, controlling blood pressure is of great significance for preventing cerebral hemorrhage and coronary heart disease.
